LOUISVILLE, KY – The United Auto Workers International Union has endorsed former State Representative Charles Booker in his campaign to defeat Rand Paul for U.S. Senate. The UAW represents 400,000 active members in the United States along with 580,000 retirees. The United Auto Workers has a large presence in Kentucky representing 20,000 members across the Commonwealth.

“I’m honored and humbled to receive the endorsement of the women and men of the United Auto Workers. Whether they are on the line at KTP, or manufacturing parts at Martinrea, UAW members across Kentucky are working towards a brighter future for their families and for Kentucky,” Charles Booker said.

“The United Auto Workers proudly endorses Charles Booker for the U.S. Senate. Charles has been an advocate for working families throughout his career.
