The U.S. must be a leader for humanity both here and globally. To do that, we must finally address the military industrial complex that fuels our never-ending conflicts across the globe, and keeps us from investing our tax dollars here at home. We have a responsibility as a nation to stand with our allies in diplomatic pursuits of peace, and avoid attempts to re-enter military conflict whenever possible.
The United States Constitution planly states that only Congress has the power to declare war, and yet for decades, we have seen Congressional authority sidestepped in favor of endless war. We must strengthen and reassert Congressional authority to authorize matters of war and military conflict
